Back to School..Or Starting "BIG" School in our case

August is here. The traffic in the mornings is heavy and the school buses are running their early morning routes. At our house we have reached another mile stone. The Princess started K5 last Friday. I picked her up early from after care because I was just going crazy to know what kind of day she had. Her response "why are you here early" (mind you it was 2:30 p.m.). I saw this as a sign that all was well! Her social calendar is booked with 4 birthday parties in the next 7 days. Sounds like the life to me. Her largest problem at the moment is reading her color words. You know brown, blue, black..those "b" colors are really confusing and if last night was any glimpse as to what the next 12 years hold for her parents and their patience with homework...begin storming the heavens!

While the princess works hard to identify her color words, Michael Phelps consumes his 10,000 calories a day (sounds like a problem) and works towards winning the most gold in history! Wow, I guess we do all have problems. My problem for today was what to do when you have 2 girls in the tub and the youngest monkey has a BM issue. Any advise on how to sterilize the tub would be most helpful. I threw out all the rubber ducks and frogs (wanted to clean those out anyway) and am going to run the cups through the dishwasher. The fam may have to evacuate the homeplace tonight because the master bath smells like clorox and bleach may have exploded!

It crossed my mind to snap some pics of this latest "monkey" incident, but really who wants to see floating...you know. Instead I will share some shots of the Princess leaving for her first day of K5 and the monkey screaming because we were making her leave home without her blanket. Wow, what kind of parents are we. Do you think she will be scarred for life? Maybe the bath scene was pay back!

I don't what I'm going to do about this blog name! It was the baby that didn't consider all of the changes that may need to take place....& I'll have a good long chat with her one day.
Maybe a new name will come to me. .... but I gotta tell you that I doubt it :)
